Everyone's favorite leather; aniline dyed, with a unique patina, shading and finish, with a medium luster glaze - producing a tile with an unusual degree of depth and diversity; every tile is different. Strikingly beautiful with a character all its own.
Leather of this extraordinary quality is produced in the traditional, old world, craftsman-like manner to insure that every one of your projects produces a great result. Great results come from great leather, a careful installer (following instructions), and a smooth wall surface. This product can be installed on almost any smooth surface, including plaster walls, sheetrock, plywood, and concrete.

TILE: A die cut piece of leather (no backing) adheres directly to the wall using Stampede Adhesive.
Rainbow-X leather wall tile comes in 20 colors and the following tile sizes (in inches): 2x2, 3x3 4x4, 6x6, 8x8, 10x10, 12x12, 18x18 and 2x8, 2x14, 4x6, 6x12, 9x12, 9x18, 12x18, 8x24, 12x24, 18x24, 10¼ x 17 Harlequin and custom sizes. More information on metric sizes is available here.
Embossing
All of these 20 colors can be embossed with any of our 400 + textures, grains, geometrics, and floral prints or laser tooled in almost any custom design. Embossing with heat and pressure sometimes activates the oils in the leather causing some of the most naturally beautiful, dramatic antiquing, and patina effects on some colors. They can also be hand tipped with another color to add additional dimension to the embossing. More information on embossing is available here.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a pure aniline dyed 5 ounce leather with little or no pigment applied to the surface, allowing the hide's natural markings, fat wrinkles, stretch marks and other variations, to show through. Both texture and color may vary from tile to tile as well as within a tile. Leather is the perfect imperfect product.

IMPORTANT to note that a tile is not a panel; a Panel is ¼ inch thick (it can be ½" or ¾") module of Riflex® ply, cut to the size you specify (within the limitations of the hide size) and wrapped with your choice of leather. The panels are available distressed, abraded, embossed, laser engraved, flat, padded, or surrounded with a frame. More information on panels is available here.
